GOAT CAMP: GRAZING, MILKING & CHEESEMAKING

July 25th & 26th

Join Taylor and her mobile herd for some goat goodness. We’ll learn how to prescribe graze, milk and make a couple styles of cheese followed by a goat hike on our local trail.

Sunday August 2nd

Indulge in the realm of possibility and pigment from the diverse floral landscape of the Gorge. We will be harvesting, a diverse array of fragrant flowers, fruit and plants and experimenting with dying them on fabrics and paper!

SUMMER GARDEN COOKOUT

August 9th

Sunday Garden Cookout and Sauna with PDX chef and ringleader of Portland’s Earth School, Angie of Comparta. We’ll cook what we find around the Gorge Onsen and create a delicious dinner followed by a sauna and hot tub.

WHOLE ANIMAL PROCESSING & WOOD FIRE COOKING

August 19th-23rd

We will take two animals from life, through death, and into a variety of usable parts. This is a four day hands-on intensive.
